GTX 980 Ti or GTX 1070?
If I can find them less than $200 used. Which one would be better?

they are similar performance
1070 has more vram and uses alot less power

Neither, too old and slow.

Look at Rtx 2060 Super or better.

If gonna buy used, look at 1080 Ti

I heard the GTX 980 Ti OCed can be compared to a GTX 1070 Ti? Is this true?
All 980 Ti are basically the same, you can potentially OC any one of them.

GTX 980 Ti would be a better choice for under $200 used?
They are both basically the same. A 1070 is the better choice. Pascal is much better in the end.

Question is, what are you finding online to pick from?

1070 is the better option
any gpu can be overclocked, results depend more on its power delivery and cooling

Really? Oh I thought all Ti means Overclockable.

no, if the mfg labels it as oc then its factory overclocked
but any can be overclocked

ti is a different ver gpu, most often more cores, tmu and rops

Any nvidia gpu with Ti means that gpu core is cut from a Titan

But if you go compare a 980 Ti to even the cheapest stock 1070, they game roughly the same, 10 series are all pascal based though which is much better overall and a 1070 would require less power then a 980 Ti

I would get the 1070, newer, less chance of faults
Even if nearly the same in most games. Again gtx 10 series is the better choice and uses less power per same performance

What’s a pascal? Are all pascal’s have 1 blower fan? Having more fans is better than 1 fan? I could be wrong.
