Touchpad problem
So this morning I accidentally spilled some tea on my laptop. Pretty much the whole touchpad and a few keys. The keys work perfectly fine still, but the touchpad has a problem: I can only drag the cursor around and the click buttons do not respond anymore and I don't think it could've been anything else to cause this to it. Tips on how to fix it if there is any way?

[ I am currently using a mouse but I'd like to sell this laptop to buy a new one later and I want everything to work fine]

Open it up and carefully wipe aware any Tea. Then let it dry thoroughly and hopefully it hasn't been permanently damaged

This is really the best you can do, short of replacing the touchpad.

Take the machine apart and clean it.

If the touchpad is dead it can be replaced, how easy or hard this is will depend on the laptop. Usually the touchpad is build in to the palmrest meaning the entire palmrest has to be replaced. Depending on the model of the laptop a new palmrest with touchpad can be bought for $10-$50.
