Make sure the rear fan is connected to the correct fan header if you have recently assembled the computer.
Yup seems to be connected and running

It has a rare chance of popping up so if i get that message i just restart

If it sometimes happens randomly then most likely the fan is going bad. Or the mobo is just stupid.

Mobo is 7 years old now but case is 3 so i guess that could be why

Most likely there is some lower RPM limit set as "acceptable" and if fan runs below that you get an error.
If it did not happen before and you did not change any fan-related settings in bios recently the best thing to do is - replace the fan. Fans are cheap, replacing hardware after it overheats and dies is not.

Switch the fan with another one.
If you get the same error again it's not the fan but the motherboard. If you get a similar error about a different fan not being detected you know it's the fan itself. Replace the fan
