What exactly is the question? If CSGO doesn't support FXAA from NVidia CP - then it doesn't.

CSGO does though
NVCP has "Antialiasing FXAA ---- Not Supported for this application" greyed out

I've never set CSGO setting using control panel so not sure if it is a recent change or if it's always been this way.

But if it's greyed out saying "not supported" - then it definitely doesn't, what makes you think it does?

Because I literally just loaded CSGO up and checked it's graphics settings to be sure it was an option before I commented.

Shock it's one of the few times I actually checked something before I commented. That's why It's odd it's greyed out in NCP

I guess you read my initial post wrong or something. I said CSGO doesn't support FXAA from NVidia CP, and you also said it doesn't. I don't see how in-game settings are related to this fact.

You never want FXAA anyways, it uses compression and add blurring effect. Just override the AA in Nvidia control panel and set to enhance and then set to like 8X

Will try agasin so hopefully no one, myself included is misreading anything.

According to NCP FXAA isn't supported for CSGO but at the same time FXAA is a listed graphics option in CSGO and can be enabled.

That is weird. One of them is clearly wrong.I haven't changed my CSGO graphics settings (ingame) for years. Not sure if FXAA option has been greyed out in NVP all this time as I've never used NVP for CSGO.

Doesn't bother me one bit. I was just curious and checked it for myself to confirm what OP had noticed.

If it's in the game then just use that. No reason to set anything in Nvidia control panel if the game offers it within the ingame settings.

According to NVCP, NVCP's FXAA is not supported in this game. That doesn't mean it can't have FXAA of its own, it just doesn't support the AA method or injecting method used in NVCP, most likely due to modified DX that game uses.

Ahhh ok that makes sense. Especially when the games performance is affected more by CPU than GPU anyway. CPU must be doing the FXAA.
