For lite 1440p gaming.
Wound the i7-4790, 16 Ram, GTX 1660 Ti SC Ultra Gaming. Be any good for lite 1440p gaming?

Why minimum settings? It will not be so bad.
I spent a year with 2160p display combined with i7-3770k on b75 motherboard + rx588. Even then i did not have to set everything to low or reduce resolution, medium settings with no AA ran just fine for modern games. Stuff like ETS2 even ran at max settings, 60fps and <100 gpu load.
CPU might be an issue in very few modern games, but not to unplayable level either.
All this assuming taget is around 60FPS, not 144 or something.

It will work. Just do not expect max settings with high fps, you will have to make some sacrifices.

Yup. Depends on game and setting. As you increase resolution remember you can reduce AA for similar quality and gain better performance.
