How to remove TV resolutions in NVIDIA Control Panel?
I have a problem, when I run some games like Gta San Andreas, they go to TV resolutions and I can't change that. Problem is that TV resolutions have awful colors and can go up to 60hz, and I have 240hz. I'm using DisplayPort and I tried HDMI and its still happening. In NVIDIA Control Panel it also says that my native resolution is TV resolution, so that's why some games use TV instead of PC resolutions.
Fix would be to remove them or to set native resolution to PC resolution.

Sorry for my English :steamsad:

GTA SA, 4 and 5 have a command line text file in the gam folder. Use this to add forced launch parameters to the game, such as a certain res and refresh.

You can easily Google GTA SA commandline.txt and see what options for lines are allowed to be added and what they do, etc.

Also helps to set OS desktop to screen native res and refresh rate, then make sure the game is set to full-screen

I can't find any post with gta san andreas commandlines, only gta 4 and 5. I tried to make commandline text file in gta sa directory and add gta 4 commands like -windowed and it didn't work.

AW2518HF - Alienware 2518HF Freesync

Have you downloaded the driver for the monitor?

EDITED: I have an Acer GF246 24" with has the monitor driver installed. I do not have issues with the display driver switching betwwen PC and TV resolutions, it always remains on PC resolutions no matter which game I play. I also have scaling set to display.

Problem is fixed, drivers were not a problem, I just downloaded CRU (Custom Resolution Utility) and deleted all TV resolutions.

how you do that?
What exact GPU, Driver version and Display Models are you using?
For one, when you go into NVIDIA CP, make sure the color is set to RGB + FULL
For best results, otherwise colors everywhere will always look washed out.
