AMD application language settings?
hey guys, i bumped my AMD drivers up to 20.1.3 tonight and it installed itself in what looks like an eastern european language, i just simply dont understand this language enough to figure out where the language settings in the AMD app are located, does anyone have screenshots of the new AMD application and what tab the language settings are under? im confident if i can just see a picture i can figure out where to find it no matter the language.

And I did go to google for this one before coming here, but google got me nowhere, as it usually does nowadays.

I had to test this before posting.
Bring up task manager and right-click radeon software: host service > end task, close task manager.
In file explorer navigate to c://program files > AMD > CNext > CNext and delete (or cut/paste elsewhere if you want to keep the languages for another time) the localisation folder, then restart the PC. Radeon settings should default to English.

Edit: link to where I found the fix, 4 years old hence testing before posting.

deleting the Localization folder didnt work unfortunately, uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it was always an option yes but the whole point was to not have to do that over something as silly as it being in a different language.

Though with the localization folder gone you may not have other languages to change to.

Amd must be rushing this stuff out I guess. Many complains I've seen about new amd drivers. Many said their win10 was even installed as English and the latest amd drivers came up showing Chinese for whatever reason.

As drivers usually are in English by default or at the very least, pick the language based on the default you have set already in your OS.

So not sure why it's been happening.

I find it rather intriguing, at first I had thought i accidentally picked said language While installing the driver, until i found that it's a seemingly common issue when i googled it.
