My 3600Mhz ram only works at 3100Mhz
I just bought 16gbs of 3600Mhz Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ram and if I XMP it to anything higher than 3100Mhz it causes a blue screen of death shortly after booting up my PC. I have an ROG Maximus XI Hero Wifi motherboard by the way. Any answers will be appreciated.

Up memory voltage to 1.35v or increase IMC voltage a little?

May be worth trying sometime. Thank you.

What BIOS is your board using?
The latest BIOS helps with memory overclocking, so if your board isnt using the latest BIOS you may want to give that a try.

Xmp would apply the higher correct dram voltage. Your board obviously doesn't like that particular ram or ram model.

Buying 3600 is silly.
Better to use 3200 cas14 ram
