which psu wattage do I need?
Hi, building a pc.

Intel Core i9 9900k
Asus Rog Maximus X Hero Z370
Nividia Geforce 2080 ti
32gb 2666Mhz Ram
Corsair Hydro H100i GTX
500gb ssd
4tb sata

What power supply unit do i need to power this safely? I want some leeway in what power is used to power my peripheral's which include a lot of music equipment.

Is Corsair RM750x 80 plus gold a good psu?

I don't intend to overclock.

I have an Antec Edge750 that’s served well. Also worth a look is a Seasonic model.

Corsair power supplies are made by seasonic ,Corsair just slap Thier name on it . Seasonic make the best power supplies in the world imo so Seeing as your going all out with this build why not get a platinum or above efficiency? Ofc gold with serve you just fine

They aren't anymore.
Corsair stopped buying them from Seasonic around 2012-2013.

Now most of them are made by Channel Well Technology, with few being made by HEC or Great Wall.

Corsair currently only has 2 Seasonic made PSUs in their lineup. Most of the PSUs are CWT and Great Wall.

Oh my bad i wasn't aware of this I'm sure the Corsair ax760and ax860 were made by seasonic no? Good to know tho as my next psu will be directly from seasonic if that's the case 😀

Yeah, those are by Seasonic. But only the AX.
The AXi is by Flextronics.

Only the AX860 is still sold, the AX750 is not.

I personally go overboard with the power supply, only because of future upgrades, and because I love overclocking.

I recommend this power supply from corsair, it's the one I use. It's kind of expensive, but it'll last. It is fully modular, and it's 100 percent quiet so the fans don't turn on until it is using like 600 watts.

yeah, I wouldn't mind even buying a 1700 watt 80+ titanium one, but then again that's just me xd.

There is no indication to prove this. Besides the cost, you going to pay much more for power bills because of an inefficient use.

It is a good PSU but I would rather go for the newer G3 or SeaSonic Focus Gold or Prime Titanium.
