what HWmonitor is free?
what free version should i use to monitor game temps? thanks

you're better off using Speccy, or any other program that shows the cpu temps, not just the core temps.

hwmonitor shows socket temp, pkg temp and core temps

my cpu is i7 7700k and when i went to the cpuid website the free one says it supports intel 9th generation processors. intel coffelake

Supports up to Intel 9th Gen that is.

Hardware monitors:
Open Hardware Monitor, HWmonitor.

Hardware identifiers/hardware monitors:
CPU-z, GPU-z, SPECCY, Thaiphoon Burner.

Overclocking tools/hardware monitors:
MSI afterburner, Ryzen master, AMD Overdrive, Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, AIDA64.
