New (fake) ps3 controller not working on PC through SCP, only charging.

Ive been using my older legit Sony dualshock 3 controller with scp drivers and it worked flawlessly, however I had to buy a new one eventually and my shop told me that this one is made from a different brand but offers same compatibility Some said the scp drivers should also work with fake ps3 controllers.

However until now, this fake one just keeps charging (all lights on) the scp monitor recognises it as "charging", and the control panel - devices - ps3 gamepad settings shows that the butons do work.

Tried rebooting pc few times and reinstalling scp drivers many times as well. Don't know what else to try. Ideas?

Many of these fake PS3 controllers are just generic controllers, they do not need SCP. They also will not work on a PS3.

Go in to the Steam Overlay without SCP running and the controller might just work if it's a generic one.

No response there. The legit one also won't work unless if it has SCP. Don't own a ps3 anymore, but this means that it SHOULD work on pc right?

Fixed.

Found out about a greatly improved SCP program called SCPToolkit that even managed to give me a warning saying that I'm using a fake DS3 controller, lol. Still, their drivers finally to got this ripoff controller working.

how did you make it work wireless? can you make a tutorial, please?
