Monitor goes into power save/sleep mode while on a game
My monitor is going into sleep mode sometimes when I start a game and can't seem to be taken out of sleep mode, but the PC is still on. I tried unplugging my HDMI cable and plugging it back into the GPU (Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT), but it doesn't change anything. I have to restart my PC to make the monitor act normal again. It's happened on Destiny 2 a few times but not recently, it just happened on Battlefield V and I can't get past the main menu cuz the monitor goes to sleep.

Here's my specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/wicz/saved/ddRDxr I can try a different HDMI cable and see if that helps, I'm thinking it's the graphics card or power supply. Not sure how I would check to see if the PSU is getting the proper voltage

Not using a controller, the settings are set to never sleep. Just tried a new HDMI cable and changed the PCIE settings in Bios from Auto to Gen 3 and no luck. A reddit thread said trying changing PCIE to Gen 3 which is my motherboards default and it didn't help

Update to latest bios.

Try doing this in admin command prompt: bcdedit /set {current} pciexpress forcedisable
This disables "advanced" pci-e features in windows like hotplug and some power saving features. Seems to help some people with navi cards. To revert it replace "forcedisable" with "default". Requires reboot.
Also if your bios has such settings try disabling pci-e power saving there.

If it does not help - try disabling enhanced sync, then freesync.

If it does not help too - try reverting to last 2019 driver (19.12.1).

Sadly navi drivers still have a lot of issues...
