Thermaltake 500 watts PSU
You would be better off buying a 9500f and a better gpu. The gpu that you need depends on your monitor specs and the games that you want to play.
If you don't have a z series mobo then you can't use fast ram. You are limited to 2666 maybe even 2400 depending on the bios. That means a 9600k will potentially lose a lot of performance as they work best with 3600 ram.
With gpus you buy the best you can afford.
im playing with COD MW atm, while streaming with current specs and i dont have any trouble or having any FPS Drops with it. i also like playing battle royale games and any modern games right now :) also i have Gigabyte H310M DS2 updated bios. i think it only can run up to 2666 Mhz do you think its worth getting i5 9400F from i3 9100f?
i just upgraded my system this last december haha
Will be a bit too much for current cpu in some games, but at least you will not have to replace it again as soon as you upgrade the cpu. Also it is quite likely that by august it will make more sense to replace MB+CPU instead of upgrading CPU....
What exact model? The majority of Thermaltake's PSUs are low quality and not well suited for gaming PCs. Could be a risk down the line as the unit ages.
9400f - no.
Your games now are probably being bottlenecked by the gpu, which leaves some cpu for streaming. Install a new gpu and more cpu will go to the game, which could leave less for streaming.
9100f has 4 cpu threads
single thread score 24 multi-thread 89 turbo - 4.2
9400f has 6 cpu threads - 24 / 120 / 4.1
9500f - 26 / 130 / 4.4
9600 - 27 / 136 / 4.6
9400f is just adding 2 threads to the cpu at same speed, but it has a slower turbo than the 9100f. So I wouldn't buy it.
9500f also has 6 threads and higher turbo. Benchmarks I have seen rate it higher than he ryzen 3600 in gaming whereas the 9400f is slower.
9600 also has 6 threads, faster again and higher turbo.
So the 9600 (non-k as you can't overclock) is the best buy by far cpu-wise. The 9500 should be close behind.
Coolers tend to be a problem with even the non-k intels, So you might have to spend a few more on a fin-fan cooler.
Thermaltake TR2 S Series 500W 80+

Thanks for these awesome information! :D i think im going to upgrade my GPU first from 960 to 1660 / 1660 Super ( or RX 570 probably?). i can feel that my i3 9100F wanted to more go further but my 960 in some area hindering it. so that in the near future i can upgrade to 9500f...
Replace it, TR2 is a dumpster fire. Corsair CXM is ideal budget PSU.
get a quality 500+w power supply
if it was a quality 500w psu, rx 590 or 2080 would be possible
