Does RAM cause stuttering?
In EFT I can only play the smaller maps that use 5-6GB RAM because the bigger ones use 7-8GB. I get 60-70FPS on all maps but I stutter every few seconds on the big ones.

Is this because I only have 8GB RAM and the game is using it all?

I don't know what eft is, but 8gb of ram is not much these days and can cause these issues. you should upgrade to 16gb

Full spec list? CPU and the drive the game is on can also influence stuttering

RAM doesn’t cause stuttering, unless you’re running single channel. Also, maybe your overclock is unstable?

Those are terrible specs for that game is why. And 8gb ram is not enough. Also helps to use Win10 64bit 1909 on an SSD, with latest bios and drivers. No PC should be running modern games on less then 16gb ram

Manually configure your pagefile also.
For example, set to none, apply and reboot. Then set to 8192 min and max, apply and reboot.
