How to make Xbox 360 Kinect work as a webcam?
I made it work in Skanect using the SDK drivers, but Discord can't pick it up as a video source.

Does anyone know how to make it work on Discord please?

The Kinect isn't an ordinary camera, it's an infra-red emitter/sensor. You can't use it as a camera unless you have a piece of software which translates it's output and presents itself as a virtual device claiming to a camera.

It's output makes no sense to a piece of software such as Discord, you will need 3D scanning software to capture it's output and see what it sees.

I know it's not normal, but in Skanect it shows the normal video feed which it does have. And online theres loads of "methods" but none work/all use some .ax file that simply doesn't work in conjunction with the given CMD prompts. Perhaps you could work it out? Idk what I'm doing wrong but somethings not right.

The video it shows you isn't an ordinary video. It did a lot of processing to generate that image.

I use the kinect for 3d scanning. Can they do that?
