ok before i order one, you techie guys and girls back check me on a good graphics card to buy. im about to drive down and put $100 on my pre-paid debt it card, looking for one &100 and under.

your only PCI -16 slot is on the very bottom of the board .. you'd need a single slot GPU that requires no power , since the power supply in that ACER is weak

and also any GPU you put in that bottom slot is not gonna get any airflow .. so its gonna overheat most likely

it was designed as and meant to be a small system used for office work .. not a gaming PC

remember that part i said " i last was UP on comps when the best was 66hmz comp......now all this crap you take in for granted is BS to me, gimme DOS, NP......this selecting a upgrade, well ive been burned to many times but ive got 16gb mem, now need a 2 GB vid card, just got back from store, money ready to spend....as long as what i order WORKS

well you are expecting that you can upgrade that OLD ACER .. bottom line ITS NOT WORTH THE TIME OR HASSLE ..or investing a penny into

save up more cash ..then buy or build a decent system that you can upgrade as time moves on

i use a Versa V 22 one its the same case other then mine has a fan on the side by my GPU , they no longer make those .

note you'll need to add a few 120 mm case fans for the best cooling but you can get a 4 pack of those cheap too 16 bucks

for an OS install WIN 10 Pro ..you can install and use it free with no activation .. and be limited to not changing the desktop or buy a cheap legit win 10 pro key here

and stay yes... under a grand .....you' ll also need a 8 gig usb thumb drive to DL your windows 10 OS to .. but you can get those for under 10 bucks at your local office store or walmart

and there will not be many games that that PC cant run very well in 1080 P or maybe even 1440 P

You do know that low profile and single slot isn't the same? For that XFX you need to cut the case.
OP would need to buy a Yeston RX550-4G-LP-D5 from china, which would probably cost over $100.

as far as the other ram you bought .. many people already told you SEND IT BACK IF YOU CAN NOT USE IT ..get a refund on it

modern PC builds will need DDR 4 ram and DDR 3 ram builds are not worth it if you want to build a decent modern system for games ..most if not all the newer GEN CPU's will use only ddr 4 ram ..so keeping that DDR 3 ram is pointless ..contact the seller and send it back via RMA for a refund

dude look at the size of that XFX card it'll fit in a small case but again its NOT WORTH him buying it at all //did you even look up his mainboard manual like i did ???? .. it shows the inside of that case and where the ONLY PCI X 16 slot is located ....

ralf please look at FACTS when trying to assist other people ..and look up their system .. i did
and yes it looks like to me if he could find that GPU it would indeed fit .. but as i said it may overheat since the fan will be blowing down ..right at the bottom of the inside of his small form factor case

oh now i see what ya mean .. the PCI x 16 slot is on top not the bottom ..and has to be low profile ..but i think that XFX card comes with a low profile bracket .. most do when you buy a single slot GPU ..my last XFX card came with one as did my last sapphire single slot gpu
both were AMD HD 7750 cards

yea i went with the 2600 i could have gone a lil cheaper but . i only build intel based system for myself .. and i'm not up to snuff on the best bang for the buck AMD ryzen CPU's ..i do know the 2600 is a decent CPU for the price ..and that main board with a bios update can run even the newer ryzens and many people suggest that combo for a decent budget system
