CPU Upgrade Help

I have an i7 930 CPU for a 1366 Socket. My motherboard is GA-X58A-UD3R (rev. 2.0)

Wondering wich one of these are the "best" one and i think they should work for a 1366 socket.

Intel i7 990x, Intel i7 980x, Intel i7 980, Xeon W3690, Xeon X5690, Xeon W3680, Xeon X5660.

Only want to upgrade not buy a new system since thats out of the question.

You might as well wait to buy a new computer if your CPU is that old

that will take some time, would like oto enjoy games as long as i can before a new system.

i do not have a CPU cooler, open case with 3 fans.

Exact numbers would be pretty helpful. As much as needed, am I suppsoed to guess? $10? $100?

cannot give you exact numbers, under 300 or under 200. i dunno. as long it works with a 1366 socket and its a lot better than what i have.

For $300 you can get a new Ryzen 5 1600AF with a new motherboard and 16GB RAM, are you sure you want to stick to that socket?

Then get the Ryzen 5 1600AF for around $85. Make sure it's the "AF" model, the correct model number is: YD1600BBAFBOX

Dunno, dosent it need to fit the case? Anyhow i would just like a new CPU my computer is still working and im fine with that but would like to upgrade to a new CPU. Im not playing on max settings in games but i would like to be able to play some more in the future and that might require a new CPU.

Dunno, dosent it need to fit the case? Anyhow i would just like a new CPU my computer is still working and im fine with that but would like to upgrade to a new CPU. Im not playing on max settings in games but i would like to be able to play some more in the future and that might require a new CPU.

Your motherboard socket is pretty much a dead end, and yes it will fit in the case if it's a atx one.
