Build one from scratch, it will save you a lot of money and headaches.
I would return it.
Well, you really would need to add more ram and a videocard just to even get started. CPU might still stop you from getting good performance. I've seen people do this, try to get a pc and then plan on upgrading it when that's just not a good idea. If you can return it, I would suggest doing that and then building your own.
If fortnite and a couple similar games is all you want to play you could try popping in a new videocard like a 1050 ti and see if it runs good enough for you. a dual core cpu is in the "minimum" requirements but if you want really good performance they say you should have at least a quad core cpu.
Exactly what CPU do you have?
Well, really you just tell us how much you want to spend and people will give you a link with all the hardware you need to get and you can even order directly from the link from the pcpartpicker site. Then when you get the stuff you just put it together. It's not that hard, but not that easy either. If you have the time, it's worth learning about and playing with.
For example like this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GZkkDx. That link wasn't created for your scenario, just demonstrating.
If you buy all the components at the same electronic store, they'll assemble the pc for you for an additional fee (150$ ?).
But we can also help you assembling the PC. Youtube Videos also exist.
If you won't return it, there are possibilities to upgrade some parts of your PC.
You could do a moderat investment into a Ryzen setup now and upgrade the CPU at a later point.
Before suggesting a configuration, I need to ask you some questions:
Is your plan still to use the GRUNT PC as basis or do you want to start from scratch?
If you go with the first option, we need some more details on this GRUNT PC since the information on the page is nonexistant. Can you run CPU-Z[www.cpuid.com] when you sit in front of this GRUNT PC, press "Validate", in the new window click on "Submit". Post the url of the page your browser opens.
What's your monitor's refresh rate (Hz) and resolution?
Return that piece of overpriced junk called Grunt and get something proper.
What can i say... essentially it is perfectly legal scam. Directed mostly at kids with all the flashy images and words. Disgusting. Dual core with 4 gigs of ram no gpu and hdd? For $460? This is even below average modern office PC. Last batch we received at work just before new year were quad core i3-8*** (do not remember exact model) with 8 gigs of ram (1 stick 2400), 240gb ssd and 22 inch monitor (cheap one obviously) for about the same price. Sure they are bought in bulk, and other components like motherboard and psu are trash (i'll expect them to be trash here too) but still...
If you can - return it. No matter what it is not good. Even for exactly the same price it is possible to get WAY better stuff.
