My msi 970 gaming based system still runs on a amd phenom ii 1055t, with 16gb of ram, and my sapphire r9 390 8gb .I am running Win 10 pro installed on a 480gb ssd, and I am also using two more, one identical to that one,and a smaller of 240gb.
I was only considering the FX 8350 as a getaway to run hopefully Vampyr and Red Dead Redemption decently. But yes, it's expensive.
I am upgrading to ryzen 9 3900 and the msi prestige x570 creation among other components, but I was just hoping to give my old hardware a few more happy times before retirement.
And folks,it goes without saying, please offer me your suggestions and ideas. They are all welcome.
You're very welcome. Like I said, I have known of these stores for about a decade. I haven't heard a bad thing yet about them. But then I don't know anyone whose tried international shipping with them.
I would go check my local store, but I am a hermit. Sorry about that.
This Black Friday I moved from my FX8350/gtx1070 to a very reasonable priced Ryzen 7 2700x with the same gtx1070 quite a difference.

Some comparative resources ^.
iirc they do 12/24mth warranty on all electricals ie phones, consoles, laptops etc
Check my fav used CPU store on Ali, here[www.aliexpress.com]
I love those guys, I never had a single issue with CPUs from them.
Thank you for your post
Thank you, but I wish to built a system as future proof as possible, and honestly, I wish for something that will be able to max out S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 when it releases on UE 4.
Also, I am looking to buy the absolute best of a beast of a graphics card amd will be offering at that moment.Yes,even if it costs a fortune.
Speaking of Aliexpress ^.
In all honesty, my biggest issue is that I simply lack the knowledge and experience to tell if they sell me a cpu with damaged pins or fake or otherwise. Also, when they do mention things like used but in pristine state and the such, yeah I can believe them in good faith, but how do I know if they have overclocked the soul out of the poor thing for five years straight and then sell it to me?
And to be fair, the same can happen with ebay sellers, although it looks like they are on the watch out for scammers and mostly deal swiftly with them.
I understand what are you saying,I mentioned that, because frankly, I have never bought used hardware until now, I know I would be insecure about it, even though for no good reason actually.
As explained, the FX 8350 as a temporary solution before going to one of the Ryzen 7 series models.I only want to enjoy Red Dead Redemption as decently as possible.
@L37: I know it is jewel like expensive, and they know it too.I am reconsidering it tbh.
