번역 관련 문제 보고
I do network share transfers all the time and as long as router, and connected PCs all support 1gbps wired ethernet it shouldn't be slow.
When I just transferred approx 100 gb it took around 10 mins
It was also mentioned that I shouldn't be using the internet excessively for downloads. I don't think I was, but you never know when something has decided to update itself in the background. However, I don't think the internet has much to do with having just two PCs and a cable. I figured that should work even on the moon.
I've resolved to using my USB sticks, splitting my files into 15GB bitesized pieces, and transferring them over. I've been doing this for about 2 hours now, while also reorganizing my folder structure, eliminating redundant files and photos, deleting unsatisfactory videos. Depending on what I was doing with the PCs, copying speed varied between 10-30MB/s, which is much more reasonable.
I'm almost done here. That does not mean I won't be need this advice. After all, I somehow have to get all this stuff back on my PC after wrapping up the upgrade.
Shouldn't need to do anything special if they are on the same local network and have all the same WINOS sharing options enabled. No need to go hooking them up a certain way just to transfer files. All your devices on the local network should be able to file share when on the same router. I even do that with phone to pc or tablet to pc.
sounds like the op does not have a gigabit switch or router with gigabit ports
