How to i uninstall PS4 controller drivers from Windows 10?
I've been using my Playstation 4 controller on pc for a long time now and all of sudden today i heard the "Bloop" sound as if it had been unplugged and now my pc doesn't recognise it. It says the device has malfunctioned and in my steam controller settings it says there's no controller connected.
It works just fine when i plug it in to my PS4.

In device manager, it says "Unknown device". I've tried uninstalling it and the restarting in the hopes than it would reinstall the drivers but it still says the same thing.
I tried another PS4 controller and it doesn't recognise that one either.

EDIT: Fixed (for now at least).

Just manually install the driver.

Is it using BT or wired usb?

Mine did the same recently & took my AIO RGB with it. I assumed that it was something to do with Bluetoothing my PS4 controller to my PC, The controller still worked after a restart though. I ended up having to Format the Boot Drive & put a fresh install of Windows 10 on to fix the problem.

I've used my PS4 controller (Wired) for a while now & had no problems, it only happened after I set up Bluetooth, as you can imagine I'm slightly reluctant to plug my PS4 controller in at the moment. I'm unsure if the problem was conflict with RGB Fusion & iCue, conflict with iCue & PS4 controller drivers with my motherboard (Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro WiFi) or if Windows has just broken something with an update?

I'll try the controller (Wired) again a bit later & see if it works. I hope it does, I don't fancy spending Christmas Day Formatting my System again :-(

I plugged my PS3 controller in to see what would happen, i didn't know PS3 controllers were supported but apparently they are (must be a new thing cuz they never used to be). Since i did that my PS4 controller works again.
