Same reason I bought a HX1000i. The ATX power standard barely changes.
ATX 2.4 hasn't changed since 2013
- Poor cable management
- Having case fan's logos facing different ways
- Forgetting to peel off protective stickers
- Having the PSU's fan facing into the PC when there would have been plenty of room for airflow if it were facing outwards instead
:DDD
Any my build will probably look like junk to you as a result, because about the only thing i do with cables is making sure that they will not get into fans and are easily accessible for when i want to change things.
in the end it booted up and worked fine ..4 months later his CPU was outdated ..and he had to build a new system anyway
I know a dude who is pretty autistic, and he is currently going through a phase where he thinks he is tech savvy. Recently he bought a Ryzen 3900x (Or maybe a 3700x, forgot the exact model). He flattened a good amount of pins on it by trying to force it in to the AM4 socket.
I dunno the details of what he did wrong exactly, but I have seen the pictures.
He went back to the seller and somehow managed to get it replaced.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, he did a lot more messed up stuff with his build. From going overkil on RAM (64 GB, 4 modules) to using a crappy low wattage PSU and a budget motherboard.
