Connecting cpu fun into cha_fan or aio_pump
Can i connect my cooling fan into cpu_fan header 4 pin, and connect the cpu fan to 4 pin cha_ fan or aio_pump without having a problem? The cooling fan is too short so the only option is to connect it via cpu_fan 4 pin (buying fan extension is an option too but im on budget rn so im wondering if its okay without having issue)

If you plug it into anything cha, its going to act like a case fan and will not react to CPU temps as far as I know.

What motherboard and cooler are you using?

Just plug it in and then check BIOS fan settings, you should be able to set the cha fan to the CPU temp unless it is an older board.

ryzen 3 2200g cooler and asus ex a320 motherboard

Looking at the image of the board, is there anything on that white fan header in the top corner?

Also, definitely get a better motherboard, the VRMs are prone to overheating.

I wouldn't bother unless you plan to buy a better CPU.

That board is fine for OP's CPU. A 2200g isn't going to come close even at stock.

Theres issues with A320 chipsets. It still works but its not great, some are prone of overheating.
