What ram is in it now?
For gpu, what's your budget?
get a ddr3 ram kit 1600+ cl9-
I am interested in this particular model. If it does not fit, I will look for old RAM.
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here
some of the lower end boards will not have 4 dimm slots
imho, get a 2x8g ddr3 kit 1600+ cl9- to replace its 2 dimms
So get 2x4gb 1600 cl7 or cl9, such as Corsair XMS or LP
the board only has 2 dimm slots, and both are populated
and no ssd
those are most of its issues
if you want to speed up the system, ssd and enough ram
ignore its qvl list, there are more kits/dimms than they can bother testing
just make sure the ram kit is ddr3 and it will work
(the board has a 8g limit, 2x4g)
if you can find a first gen i5/i7 5xx-8xx that would be a nice upgrade, those should be cheap
will be much better cpu/gpu and have atleast 8g of ram
4771, 4770, 4790 cpu
2x 8gb ddr3 1600
Ssd + Hdd
Then just get a decent atx power supply and gpu for it.
