ryzen 2600x vs ryzen 3600

is it even worth the extra 50-70$ to go with the 3600? from what iv seen on youtube, the 3600 is max 15% faster in games. i have a 1070 that im looking pair with these.
(btw this is all in CAD currency)

If you are playing at 1080p than I would say it's deffinitly worth the small extra cost, but do your own research to determine if you think it's worth it. Also the Ryzen 5 3600X is only about $10 more than the Ryzen 5 3600, it isn't a big difference but it's also not much more!

Yeah the X version is worth it, comes with a better cooler as well.

50-70$ isn't a small cost lol. the 2600x is $150 and the 3600 is around 220-250$
a 10% gain for over 50% more cost?
is it just me or the the 3600 pointless for the price.
even for 144fps. nether of them can even hit 144 in most of the demanding titles so these are 60fps cpu's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJguDHmytaE&t=151s

It is for some people... Its subjective to what your budget is. Personally I think $80CA for 15 frames per second more average is more than worth it.

if the 3600 was only 30$ more then i could see it being worth, but 60-80$ more is just way to mch

No, the video you posted in most games the 3600 beat the 2600 by 15-20 fps, and even more so in very cpu intensive games like csgo.

have you ever seen benches on the 3600x cpu. it's a 60fps cpu, it stuggles to hit above 110 in AAA games, so why would someone with a 144hz panel even buy one? they wouldn't

No such thing as a 60 fps CPU, the 3600 is used with anything from a 1070 to a 2060S to a 2080ti
