Always build by yourself. Unless the system is on a sale and is truly a good deal.

If you a custom configurator, i would look at which one has the better freebies or is cheaper.
If you have played with legos, you know how.
+ you have Google, Youtube and many other sites as a help.
Like I said before many computer shops will build it for you for a small fee. All you need to do is ask local shops in your area.
I had another which ended up leaving me out the $799 the system cost and another $50 to ship it to them for RMA service they didn't render. Their tech was trying to say that I swapped the PSU and it messed up the MOBO? Bearing in mind this was a computer less than two weeks old and everything in it was exactly what they put in it.
Either way, it was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had and all I got out of it was a non-functioning brick of a computer and an enduring hatred of Cyberpower PC. Their stuf might work fine most of the time, sure... but why would you give money to a company who is going to treat their customers like that?
They are borderline criminal as far as I'm concerned.
I wanted to build myself but with GPU shortage I had to go through integrator. I paid 5000$USD for 3 things:
a top-of-the-line computer with watercooling
a headset
a monitor
The screen (curved Gigabyte 34'') was ok. Everything else was wrong.
What I got was a computer literally swimming in coolant inside and out. The inside of the computer was soaking wet, liner soaking wet, internal box is soaking wet and external box also soaking wet to the point where I was not even comfortable using it to return this DOA machine.
The problem is that the liquid cooling closed circuit was not closed. An entire pipe between the rad and reservoir was missing (not disconnected and dangling at the bottom of the box...it was not even in the box). The reservoir just emptied all over during transport. I dont understand how they ship those with the coolant in the circuit but apparently it is common practice.
They had the audacity to make me pay to ship the computer back even though this is 100% a mistake in the factory.
I uploaded videos pictures and such. After waiting for an hour on the phone I got to someone who noticed the obvious elephant in the room. He gave me an RMA number a full week later. This was the last successful interaction with CyberpowerPC. If you want to see how bad it was: https://photos.app.goo.gl/okveJKXqZYJABvN48
The company made zero effort to compensate for the trouble, or the delivery cost, or the 2 months lost. Nothing was offered at all except a single nonchalant "sorry for the inconvenience" reply in an email.
A month after the first ticket was opened I had no confirmation that a replacement unit was under way, no confirmation number, no ETA, no link on my client account, no production order, absolutely nothing. I had no idea if the request to send a new machine was actually in.
Also: I opened a new ticket about the wrong headset being delivered. I paid for a high quality unit but they shipped a crappy CyberpowerPC model which retails 1/3 the price I paid. Weeks later I never got a single answer response or anything. Complete black hole.
Obviously the ticket asking for a refund went unanswered. I stopped counting after about 2 months.
Overall I spent maybe 8 hours trying to speak with someone. I sent well over 30 emails and follow-ups and was never been called back or received anything like a followup. Customer Service is not even pretending to be helpful. The level of carelessness and not-giving-a-♥♥♥♥ is astounding.
To give an idea of the arrogance of the company : after ~2 months of getting absolutely zerooo response on very angry email I asked for a refund. It took 6 weeks for a rep to reply to the refund request saying "...so you don't want a replacement unit?". At that point I'm 3 months waiting and the replacement unit apparently is not ordered yet.
Meanwhile they still have my money. I thus went to my financial institutions and asked for a refund. At that point I got a call from CyberpowerPC because my case was an obvious one of malpractice and fraudulent incompetence.
The rep called me a few days later to say "Paypal is going to refund you and we need to work together for your to return the rest of your order" was quite rich. It wasn't "we got your emails and we'll refund you". It was "well ♥♥♥♥... Paypal is taking the money back and we're forced to agree". Thanks Paypal.
CyberpowerPC was asked by Paypal to provide return label and all. There were 2 large boxes and 30 lbs of equipment but they sent me a single label for 5lbs box... I asked them for a new label but I new I'd never get a response so I just tapped the boxes together and UPS took them as one. This is either MAAAAASSIVE INCOMPETENCE of the worst kind or intentional sabotaging of people.
This wall of text is the short version of my nightmare. I cannot publicize enough how dangerously fraudulent Cyberpower is. By the way I'm 4 months in and still waiting for a refund. After 4 months, hours on the phone, dozens of emails, 5000$ lost, shipping charges lost and a lot of anger I have no money, no computer, no apology, no idea what's going on.
They need to be sued out of business and die. If there are other this is a clear case of Class Action lawsuit.
