90-100+c is hot
Yep. If it's summer, that's pretty normal. You only have to worry once it hits 90-ish, that'll start to impact performance. If you're worried, you can by Cooling Pads for laptops and they're not too expensive.
Nothing to even look at unless it's hitting 90*C+
It is definitely VERY high for that.
Even the worst cooling ones would only run 50C at idle.
What are your specs?
What model of laptop it is?
https://ark.intel.com/products/71142/Intel-Pentium-Processor-2020M-2M-Cache-2_40-GHz
This is the official specifications page for your processor, on Intel's website (the company that made your processor).
Scroll down to where it says "Package Specifications", and see where it says "Tjunction - 90c". Your processor is rated for maximum 90c temperatures. 70c is perfectly normal and well within normal operating parameters.
Just cause you aren't clicking around doesn't make the PC "idle"
Idle = no internet and nothing running in the background.
Anything running could potentially use the CPU/RAM at any time; which can easily have a Laptop hitting 80*C easy doing certain tasks.
