VOLTAGE PROBLEM IN BIOS HELP¡
Hi everyone.

Well the problem was that this morning bought a new cooling system for my cpu, it was the cooler master hyper 212, after finished the instalation and started my computer showed up and error it says: "cpu over voltage error".

I was really scared about that i didnt do anything bad, why my system show me that?, well i go to the bios and i go to the advanced systems, inside there i checked out the monitor of components and i see what was the problem, it seems that the VCCIN voltage was in +4.080v in color red when it has to be 1.808v so instantly i changed that value for the correct one, saved the change's and restart but the problem still and windows just dont start only works the bios.

It was the same the VCCIN voltage didnt changed, so i browsed in internet forums of asus (my MB is asus) and i found someone with the same problem during the forum he used many solutions but no one worked so he called the asus main support and it looks like he would get a RMA but i dont know if i had to do that i mean it was working yesterdey perfectly and i dont want to change my motherboard, i am pretty sure that has a simple solution that i cant see, so thats why i came here to look for your help.

Just please serious solutions.

Specs:
MB: ASUS H81M-E
CPU: Intel core i5 4460 3.20ghz up to 3.40ghz
Ram: 16gb ddr3
PS: cooler master elite 460w

Now has the stock cpu fan.

i actually tried restaring the bios but didnt work or i did it bad.

or the psu is going bad
check with hwmonitor, speccy or use a multimeter (carefully)

board voltages, tolerance is +/-10%
5v = 4.5-5.5v (red)
3.3 = 3-3.6v (orange)
12v = 10.8-13.2v (yellow)

cm is known for making crap psus, esp their low end

buy a good one to prevent any damage from it

VCCIN is a sensor from the psu voltage

did you not look at the review on the psu?
its passive pfc (not active) which is a 20 year old design
not 80+, and overrated 400w psu

buy something better
