Overclock 4790k voltage
I’m currently running at 4.7ghz at 1.260 volts
I’m close at 4.8ghz at 1.325 volts but not sure if I should push voltage anymore. I originally planned to stay bellow 1.3 volts. But wondering what people have run there 4790k s at ?
I don’t want to shorten it’s life at all. And have read that 1.3 is a “24/7 voltage limit” but wondering what I can push it to safely ?

I have benchmarked it at 5ghz (cinebench) can’t remember what my voltage was. But I’m sure it was 1.4 or more.

My cache voltage is at 1.2 and vrin at 1.9 right now. When I did 4.8 it was 1.25 and 2.0.
My cache multiplier is 44
(Not sure if any of this info was needed)

Thanks

MT

1.35 is the highest safe voltage for intel.. beyond that you are putting your cpu in danger.

more temp related

increased voltage = more stable, but higher temps

my 4690k is at 4.4ghz 1.27v 100% stable 24/7 with a 212+

with a better cooler you can raise the voltage higher

if the temps go to 90-100c it will throttle before cooking itself

Temperature hasn’t been an issue. Just wondering what my voltage cap is I don’t want to degrade the cpu in any way

if its unstable, bring up the voltage 1 bump at a time

I know how to do it lol
My question is how much voltage is safe for a 4790k

Never go above 1.4v VCore for Intel
