Id stick to the 780Ti. The other two video cards you listed will bottleneck under the Core2 series Intel CPU.
Anything above this would basically be wasted due to CPU bottlenecks.
Changing GPU isn't really going to help make such a system sell, given its dated socket and cpus...
If the CPU in question is cheap enough, maybe grab it and try on your board, again grab and apply the latest BIOS for your system model from Dell.com/Support first though, just to help ensure the board is ready for such a change. If the CPU fails to boot, then just resell that CPU.
Just that it will be a power hungry GPU compared to a 9xx or 10xx
780 Ti needs approx 250W-300W by itself, due its max tdp under full loads
So I sure hope you have around a 450-500W PSU
however i did see it here https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/product-spotlight/dell-vostro-410-tower-pc/
ill try the q9550 and see if it would work, that or ill try q6700 if the q9550 won't work
what i have for it is a 700w psu
rather than just 1066?
But how old is this PSU? If it's 10 years old, it's time for the trash bin probably.
over that e7300.
did some testing with the Witcher 2, as this was the best game it could run,
and now it's set to high in the settings, and no lag what so ever.
still that's good news, for whoever may happen to buy this pc.
now i'm thinking i may try the q9650, who knows at this point, but if i do ill post it here if i do.
also to the guy who has a q6600 read cpu boss http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core2-Quad-Q9550-vs-Intel-Core2-Quad-Q6600
anyways thanks for reading
