laptop microphone maxes out automatically

how do i avoid it
if i make volume 10 to microphone then after 2 minutes it becomes 100 again

msi gs65 laptop

I'd look around youtube for some tutorials, or on reddit.
Nevertheless it's useful to ask around here too.
I had this problem once on my computer, but it popped up after using some old headphones. I seem to remember it had something to do with windows 7 sound drivers.
Might be malware too?
Don't know if I were of any help (probably not).

Uncheck the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" in the recording tab of the soundsettings of Windows.

And set the Advanced tab to "Do Nothing"
