Do a clean install and dont do ♥♥♥♥ again...easy..
Layer 8 problem.. nothing else... reinstall will be faster...
so do l need to just reinstall windows?
Where did you get the PC and what are its specs?
Also
Did you do all the Windows Updates before you attempted to use the PC normally?
Winzip wants you to buy the premium version. Uninstall Winzip. Get 7-zip and install that one. Much better.
edit:l deleted winrar and not winzip. how do l deinstall winzip?
If you didnt actually install Winzip (it should be shown in add/remove programs if you did) then the system could be referring to that.
Its possible the problem you are encountering may have to do with Windows Account control where it brings up a dialog box to make sure you want to open something. you can temporarily turn off UAC to see if that is the cause.
Have you tried opening the programs with run as administrator?
