New moniter
Didn’t let me post on reddit so I’m here
I need a new moniter for my new Gaming PC,
I want to find somthing at 4k and around 100hz, I am also on a budget.
If anyone has any suggestions please tell me.

Edit:I am now looking for a 1440p moniter not 4K

Sorry to be 'that guy' but that's a really low budget for a 4k or 1440p screen for someone with the hardware to push either properly, what cpu / gpu and memory do you actually have, as both 1440p and 4k are massively more demanding than 1080p (80% and 200% respectively) at high refresh 1440p is as demanding as 4k.

Its fine, I have a Ryzen 5 1600, a gtx 1060 3gb and 8GB of ram

Ok thank you I’ll have to settle on 4K 60, what are some good 4K 60Hz moniters? Oh forgot to mention the budget is around $300 can go a bit more or less if needed
Man I’m in Australia and the cheapest 1080p 144hz monitors are $300 I’ll link ya a few https://www.amazon.com.au/BenQ-XL2411P-Sports-eQualizer-Vibrance/dp/B075JGL4WV/ref=mp_s_a_1_61?ie=UTF8&qid=1544435473&sr=8-61&pi=AC_SX118_SY170_QL70&keywords=1080p+144hz&dpPl=1&dpID=31hpOJJNygL&ref=plSrch
And there’s a couple I can’t find RN and unless you have a RTX 2080 Ti 1440p 144hz is out of the question and 4K 144hz is out of the question unless your planning to sli 2 Titan RTXs

Im going for 144hz 1440p now not 4K
Also I think I found one, the viotek gn27dB

Then you won't run 1440p let alone 4k well, you'd need to drop a bunch of settings at 1440p and probably be on low at 4k as you don't have enough vram or raw power, high refresh 1440p is pretty much out of the question also, your best bet might be a 144 1080p screen, but, I'm afraid you'll have a bad experience above that res.

sorry but thats not enough for 4k or 1440p144hz

look for a good 1080p 60-72hz monitor
Really? I’m no expert but when I checked some bench marks for certain games it ran quite smoothly at about 65-90fps on most AAA games

A $1500 2080 TI would struggle to get those kinds of frames at 4K mate.
Hmm ok I might still get a 1440p moniter for when I get a new pc maybe.
Did my moniter seem good for the price? ( viotek gn27dB)

And a I play lots of walking sim atmospheric games, like firewatch type games

then the best bet is to go with a solid 1080p ips panel for better more accurate colour and dont worry about high refresh.

high refresh or resolution is more of an enthusiast option and such things dont come cheap, neither does the required hardware.
