Two PC streaming with a dual core? (i3 4150)
Lately, I haven't been able to get the idea of streaming with two PC's out of my head. Whenever I see any build guides for something like that, they always suggest something like an i5. But how would an i3 4150 fare for something like that? I have on already in another computer, and i'm wondering if that would be practical to set up again to use for streaming (since it's not doing anything else at the moment)

An i3 on it's own in a dedicated Streaming machine will likely be doable at 1080p/30 bit it might struggle which sometimes can cause hickups in the stream.

A 4 year old dual core will not be usable for proper gaming in the more demanding titles, your gaming experience will suffer significantly due to it's limited processing power.

I see.. So would 720p/60 be a bit more reasonable?

It would be just dedicated to streaming, i'm actually using an OC'd i5 6600k on my main rig, paired with a GTX 1080, so actually playing the games shouldn't be an issue.

host or client?

streaming client with an i3 or lower cpu would be fine

if its the host the i3 can do good, depending on what gpu and content its streaming
