Way too expensive for me. I'm trying to buy an i9 9900k, it's gonna cost 650$ + taxes (in canadian money). This thing is a hundred bucks more expensive, that means around 1400$ just for these two things
This?

But overall going Intel is just a waste of money today. RYZEN is the better bang for buck now and gives the same performance
There are no bad boards in this price range.
Dont hear on these guys who wants to tell you how good r5 3600 are. They are very good if your budget is low and you want the most for your small money. I9-9900k/ks is still the best gaming cpu for 1080p/1440p.
Only amd's r9 3950x comes close in some games but for 800+ bucks way to expensive if you cant make use of this many threads
Is the GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS Ultra the way to go then?
I wouldn't waste that kind of money on anything Intel right now. Doing so would just be throwing away money.
If you want higher end Ryzen for serious work and not just gaming alone, then look at X570 board and 3800X or 3900X
Whatever you get that isn't mid range stuff buy a serious cooler, such as BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 4
I dont hate AMD, but I'm kinda used to Intel and I wish to stick to Intel for now.
I have a 2080
To me, it's not worth paying triple the amount for a 10% difference.
The reason I want a i9 9900k is because i know it will be good for a couple of years.
This is not a Intel vs AMD thread, I just want the question answered
