Would like to know how VMs fare in these scenarios though. Doubt you can use the same account (even Family Sharing doesn't allow multiple accounts to use the same library concurrently), but the rest should work assuming you distribute enough computing power.
For that you need specialized hardware/software in order to have seperate instances of OS/game at the same time.
This is why LTT did this build a year ago to have 3 VR users on 1 PC

I have found three instances of people doing it with good results. LTT did it as a sponsored bit with lintel using Linux kvm but he was retarded about the use of lighthouses, another guy did the same ting a bit earlier. And a third guy used windows server hyper-v. Most of my experience has been with VMware ESXI and I'm fairly comfortable with its PCI express pass through. None of them have a very elegant solution for USB, often using an add-on card for each clients USB needs.
