Does increasing voltage impact performance
I couldn’t get accurate answer. I’m not going to increase voltage by anyway on my laptop, but I’m just curious.

Higher voltages do not increase performance.

The voltages are increased when overclocking the clockspeed, the higher the clockspeed the more voltage it needs to prevent it from crashing.

Increasing voltages increases heat output, and it can kill hardware if you increase it too much.

Best bet is leave it alone. If heat is an issue, regardless of laptop or desktop, lowering cpu voltage can help lower temps all around. If the system became unstable with lowering a voltage, then raise it very slightly, then retest until stability is achieved.

Often times voltages left on auto might peak too high for no good reason, simply because it can.
