ASUS ROG Mic problem. Always quiet.
No matter what microphone I get for my ASUS ROG laptop, it's always super quiet. Ive made sure its using the one I plug in too, but it always comes out very quiet and the audio is hard to hear for others. What can I do to fix it?

What model mic? USB or mic jack?

USB. I dont know the model, but my friend gave it to me since he had two pairs of the same headphones. In calls his sound perfectly fine but mine are very quiet.

Laptop model? It's basically software that's needed to run your hardware perform optimally.

If the mic is usb, there is no driver to install or change.

Try one that uses 3.5mm analog jack
