Might be worth it to call AT&T and have them send a goon out to check over your situation. Could be the techs working on your street messed up a connection. Or might be that HQ just needs to send a reset signal to your box.
Goto your motherboard vendor and download the latest network adapter driver, or go to the network card vendors website and get the driver from there

Your not in Australia are you as they are installing fiber to the Node NBN and after that everything seems to be really slow now.
You can directly use the wireless network through the WiFi adapter.
Choose the “Wi-Fi 2” as the secondary network which should have showed with the new wireless adapter connected.
This option is displayed at the top of the wireless network list in the task bar.
1. Download and update your LAN driver(from Intel's official website)
2. Reboot your modem
3. Directly connect your PC to the modem with a wired connection
The Windows troubleshoot tool can only handle so much on the software side of things. If it doesn't work after the first couple of times, it most likely means something else is wrong.
That board uses Realtek, Not Intel
