Red's your front panel - power button, leds etc. It goes in the motherboard exactly like in the "secondary motherboard", u'll figure it out. Green's your USB 3.0 port, and blue's your front panel audio. Absolutely compatible with any normal case without any secondary little board.
Your smartphone doesn't use 24 pin, why would his PC need it? There clearly are 2 6-pins connectors near the SATA ports to deliver the power.

U know, with no pins on mobo labled anyhow it seems possible they could've used different colors for the same thing on mobo and front panel connectors, like to make u wanna call them and pay them for help. Shortening different pairs of pins with a screwdriver will give u the right answer sooner or later.
we plug the motherboard power in, fans start spinning and whatnot
