Can you return a monitor with a dead pixel?
I just got a 27inch Acer monitor from Amazon. After hooking it up, and opening up chrome I noticed 1 dead pixel near the bottom left of the display.

So the question is can I return it? I mean, it's only one dead pixel not like a bunch of them.

Yes, you can return it, citing that the product was damaged or specifying that it has dead pixels. Even one dead pixel is completely unacceptable on a brand new product.

Most retailers have policy that state you can't return solely for that purpose unless it's a certain amount of pixels. So call and ask the retailer first. But given we are speaking about Amazon, just return it, they don't really care why

I'm just wondering if I do get another one, is it possible it'll have the same issue? Possibly even more dead pixels?
