Which modem is better? The Touchstone TG1672 or ARRIS SURFboard SBG6950AC2 .
i havce a touchstone and im wondering if i should upgrade.

Upgrading the modem will be a complete waste of money if it is not the bottleneck of your connection. In my experience, it is usually the router that benefits most from upgrading (especially if you have a low-end one).

I just feel like it is time to upgrade, ive had my touchstone for at least 4 years. And from what I know I dont have a router, just the modem. Very incompetent when it comes to network stuff.

If you are able to connect to Wifi then it has a router built in.

The Touchstone TG1672 has a built in router allowing Wifi
