Athlon 200ge build...little advice please :D
CPU-AMD Athlon 200ge 3.20ghz 2c/4t
GPU-Vega 3 (integrated)
MoBo-MSI B450
Ram-8 gb 2x4 ddr4 2666 Transcend (( ?? )) (okay, maybe I will sound stupid but this ram stick doesn't have fancy look, it's green basic ram stick and not sure if it is any good((buying kits like ballistic or crucial vengeance are expensive)))
SSD-240gb Kingston
Psu-Corsair 550w 80+ (( ?? ))

((Tight budget))

(Note: I'm gonna do light gaming for now like csgo, rocket league and paladins or maybe some casual games because of my budget, but I will add gpu in the future like rx 580 4gb or gtx 750 ti and gtx 1050 4gb vram and sell my cpu to a friend and replace it with ryzen 3 1200)

I'm aware that athlon 200ge is weaker version of r3 2200g cpu but the reason why I choose to open this discussion is that I am curious about this psu because many people told me to choose corsair and it has 80+ on it and 8pins as far I saw on internet. Also is that dual channel ram memory good for my cpu, is it trustworthy ??

Gonna play like two-three month on this pc then will add gpu, Just want to get back to the gaming as fast as possible, it's been 2 years since last time I played games(forgot to even hold mouse in my hand, not kidding)

buy from germany through amazon in that case. within the EU you dont pay import taxes while amazon can giev you free delivery through prime.

YOu should at least reconsider your RAM. DDR4-2666 MHz is kidna slow for an APU and also if youw ant to upgrade to a Ryzen CPu (not APU).

DDR4-3000 is mostly cheaper then 2666 while 3200MHz can be gotten aroudn the same price tag.

My apologies for the off-topic input, but... unfortunately? Given the current state of affairs, the only developed nation I would feel unfortunate to live in is the USA, and I'm glad I don't live there. And I know people are going to say, "Good, don't come here," which is redundant. I'm not.

1. Since you're using an APU (CPU+GPU) you'll want faster memory as system memory speed will directly influence that Vega 3. I recommend taking the memory up to 3000 MHz. Any 3000 MHz kit will work just fine, you don't need to spend more on a premium kit like Corsair Vengeance LPX or G.Skill Flare X, especially on a budget build with such a low end APU and with the games you'll be playing. You just need faster memory.

2. If you're going to upgrade later on, you're honestly better off with a Ryzen 5 2600. They aren't that expensive and perform far better than any Ryzen 3. Especially if you get something like an RX 570 or 580. You're already going to have a B450 motherboard which is plenty for a 2600. A 2600 paired with an RX 580 8GB will give you great performance for your dollar at 1080p.

3. Most PSUs have 80+ certification and an 8-pin... You must have misunderstood what they were saying or they didn't know what they were talking about. Any 500W 80+ PSU from Corsair, EVGA, SeaSonic, Thermaltake, etc. will do fine.

I like to differ. Without getting it into a whole discussion. Just one example:

Corsair VS 550W

It's a 80+ Rated PSU the quality is still the worst youc an get. You dont buy a PSU accordign to the rating (which is power effiency rating nto quality), not because of a certain wattage and not because of a brand. All rbands have bad modells. YOu have to specifically look into certain modells.

(I know that you are aware of that) just the statement that any 500W 80* PSU from thsoe brands will eb fine is plain and simpel incorrect.

Yes, USA has good economy, but also not all EU countries are poor as you Americans think, for example take Germany, Denmark, Sweden or (France-before corrupt government took over these last 5 years) these countries are good in economy and life style especially Germany unlike where I live in Croatia which is developing, not third world or first world but somewhere in the middle....

(((Edited:I misunderstood what you were saying, I read it to fast and tough that you said "the only developed nation I would feel fortunate to live in is USA)))

ANYWAYS lets not get political haha

So lets forget about it and move on to the topic...

So you qre saying that fast ram will do just fine also that psu is bad even if it is corsair or ?

So is it dangerous to use this psu...I can replace it with better psu about in three months not rn because I don't work rn...will it be safe to use it for like three months and then to buy better with new earned money ?

And yes I am aware of it..just don't know to who trust anymore.. everyone says otherwise :( :P

I personally would never tocuh a VS. They will do their job but their failure rate si way higher then others. If a PSU fails, it msot of the time going to take the pc with it. And PSU's can explode and burn (but not nearly as frequantly as it sometimes is staked).
A good quality PSU will hold for 10-15 years and will problery be reused through multipel PC's. Definetly worth the extra.

vs, evga b etc. are more or less budget psu's for basic systems.. but it's popular coz cheap as ef.

Cheapest i would buy, seasonic s12 series, no rebrand or anything.

Just keep in mind, the psu is one of the most important parts in your rig, dont go cheap on that one.

A lot of good youtube videos about AMD APU hardware.
Channels are:
Digital Foundry, LowSpecGamer and Tech Epiphany.

Athalong at least has the way betetr iGPU with the Vega 3 and you can get for super low price around 50€. For that price you barely get a G4560 which is about on par but got the much weaker iGPU.
