Cougar Core box

Does anyone knows if there's a replacement for the core box, core box v2 or core box C.
I bought a couple of fans for my case, and the one who sold me the fans told me that the only connector that i would need it's the molex connector, but the vortex FCB fan need a core box, core box v2 or core box C to star working.

You should be able to just hook up the LED connectors to the motherboard if the connectors fit the RGB header, but you may need a splitter if your board only has 1 or 2 RGB headers; a splitter will let you connect multiple RGB fans to one RGB header.
Otherwise, you need the control box from Cougar. I wouldn't try other controllers because they aren't guaranteed to work.

The problem is, my motherboard does not have those connectors, the fan especifically say that can only be connected on a core box, v2 or C, and i dont know if i can buy just the core box because i already have 1 cougar fan

The box should just be for RGB lighting. You will have to buy it if your motherboard doesn't support RGB connectors.
