Your research was rather poor.
If you want a quality mouse, the most popular brands would be more like Logitech, Corsair, Zowie (now BenQ), or even Roccat.
Cheap = subjective. Can mean very different amounts depending on location and individual users. Get better responses if you provide an amount in $ £ or whatever currency you use.
That said Revelene provided decent brands. I'd recommend Logitech G mice provided you can get fine one at a price you like.
I purchased a second G502 the other week. Nothing majorly wrong with my 3 year old G502 except the left button double clicks occassionally. My fault after several drinks being spilt on it.
But as it was on sale cheap, £33, I decided I'd get a new one and keep the other as a spare.
For all we know £10 could be consider cheap to you.
Don't know about Redragons mice, but their keyboards are fantastic; paid 30 quid for their cheapest keyboard for my brother, honestly, it feels like it's worth at least x2 the price.
Built really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ solid. Metal construction, doesn't twist or flex, key caps are good quality, switches are pretty smooth too, was nice to type and game on.
Not familiar with Corsair mice, sure they're fine, just not something I would go to.
Steelseries cheaper mice are pretty good, good build quality. (Make great mousepads too.)
Logitech are good quality for the most part.
Razer are really nice as well (Just don't count on keeping your middle mouse button lmao.)
Zowie mice are great as well, one problem I have with them, lack of software to finetune DPI and polling rate.
You can get the Steelseries Rival 110 for pretty cheap, great mouse.
The Deathadder Elite is 40 dollars too. (I've got the Chroma, pretty much the same mouse but with RGB, and it's lasted pretty well for a couple of years now, only problem is a month or so the middle mouse stopped working, and it's a common issue, other than that the mouse is near perfect.)
Or the Logitech G403 Prodigy, can't say much on built quality. Looks nice to hold, using a really good sensor. But it's Logitech, so it should be fine.
G502 Spectrum (not the Hero version as thats more $$) may be just outside price range but it's Xmas so might be on sale at a price you can afford. If not he G403 is a cheaper alternative.
Take a look at the comments in this older thread (including my mini-reviews on p.2) of different mice you might like (based on your hand size, grip, and budget):

Regarding the Red Dragons, they're not all the same, but the M601/602 are VERY decent mice, considering the ridiculously low price tag. I use the M602 pretty much whenever I'm out and about--it performs well, but it's cheap enough that I don't have to worry about it (I've been doing this ever since some MF swiped my SS Sensei at a Starbucks).
I bought the M601 as an 'outside' mouse replacement after my Steel Series was stolen. It took a beating for over a year, including falling on pavement once or twice, and was still ticking when I gave it to my daughter after upgrading to the 602. The 601 is still going strong; the scrollwheel is tight and the buttons never miss a click.
I may not show up at a professional gaming tournament with it, but that was probably the best 15 bucks I ever spent, lol.
Also are cougar mice good?
I am currently using a regular wired mouse and i just want something better than it in gaming, something worth the price tag.
If you don't want to spend the money on a gaming oriented mouse, getting a cheap office mouse that just looks like a gaming mouse is not a good alternative. You might as well stick with your current office mouse.
