Intel dual wireless ac 7265 keeps randomly dropping wifi
From what I've seen it uninstalls itself, due to it dissappearing from Device Manager. Then it would reappear in about 10-30secs. I don't understand what it could be, since what would sometimes fix it would be disconnecting from the wifi manually and reconnecting. It also doesn't matter how many programs I have open.

What I've done so far
Uninstall and reinstall it
Manually download and install driver for it
Turned off option for windows do disable it through device manager
Made sure hybrid sleep wasn't enabled

It's from a win 10 asus rog g752vy if anyone's wondering

If it was a driver issue than it wouldn't go off the device manager (I think). You could try going into advanced power settings and changing "Power Saving Mode" to Maximum Performance under the "Wireless Adapter Settings". All I can think of is to try that. Other than that it's failing or disconnecting from your laptop from the inside.

I forgot to add that I also put power mode to maximum. But what I don't undestand is that if it was a seating/faliure of the card, then why would me disconnecting and reconnecting from the wifi sometimes fix it from turning off and on? And thx for the suggestion though

If you look on YouTube theres more than just a handful of videos evident with wifi issues on the g752vy.

It could be that the antennas are insufficient or poorly placed, it's even possible that they may have come loose as they are afterall only a push fit, and what with the temp inside such a machine its possible that expansion/contraction may have made one becoming loose.

If you have reinstated the drivers and no other device is havinbg such issues on your network then perhaps it's time to look under the hood or watch some of those YouTube vids to see if one of them with the same problem found a solution.
