1/2) ATX_12V_2X4_1/ATX_12V_2X4_2/ATX (2x4 12V Power Connector and 2x12 Main
Power Connector)
With the use of the power connector, the power supply can supply enough stable power to all the components
on the motherboard. Before connecting the power connector, first make sure the power supply is turned
off and all devices are properly installed. The power connector possesses a foolproof design. Connect the
power supply cable to the power connector in the correct orientation.
The 12V power connector mainly supplies power to the CPU. If the 12V power connector is not connected,
the computer will not start.
To meet expansion requirements, it is recommended that a power supply that can withstand high
power consumption be used (500W or greater). If a power supply is used that does not provide the
required power, the result can lead to an unstable or unbootable system.

a quality 600w psu is enough for any single cpu and gpu

just use ATX_12V_2X4_1 if the psu has a 4 or 4+4 pin power connector
they all share the same power rail, no real difference

not sure why they want you to split the connector, since the right side of the connector will not clip or may not be keyed correctly to go in the left side of the 2nd plug

9900k is a 95w cpu
no need for more than the 4+4 eps power connector
they did not need 2 of them

many 140-150w 1366 and 2011-x cpus use a single 4+4pin
and am3+ boards with proper 225w cpu support are fine with the 4+4

i didn't know about this problem until your post. it looks like the additional connector is for extreme overclocking.

the seasonic focus plus gold 750 watts and up have the 2nd cpu cable.

edit: evga supernova g2 and g3 also have the 2nd cpu cable.

750- 1000 W. Buy corsair. Good quality Nice price. It’s for your graphic cards and future stuff. GL

To get the 2nd cpu cable with Corsair you'll need RM850x and above.

worst case, re-pin an extra pci-e connector to the 12v eps
be sure not to use the extra ground
8pin pci-e has 3x 12v and 5x ground pins
I check it with 4+4 if this will be work well with overclocked CPU i left IT on this.
Support of Aorus said to me i have to connect all EPS slot's on motherboard to correct working cpu with stability. I have to buy PSU with 2x EPS connectors :D
What of psu u recommend for it i think about
Corsair RMx White 850W
seasonic focus plus gold 750 from @ugafan
I need 2x EPS 4+4 modular 80 plus gold with very good quality ;]
