How often do you change your mousepads ?

Im owner of Logi G900 and G440 ... I have them for cca 2 years,and i noticed that sometimes,very rarely - during short mouse movements,my cy cursor skips a little bit before i stopped moving mouse ...
I won't believe something is wrong with my mouse ... but mid area of my mousepad - it's not like it was at the first day when i bought it ...

Depends on what i'm playing. When i played competitive fps a lot in the past, i was arm aimer, so i changed it like every 4-6 months because the mousepad wore off. But now i only play casually and i don't think i will need to change before two years. I also don't play a lot anymore.

I would change it if i noticed a big difference in smoothness between an old and a new mousepad.

Depends on the mat. I've still got one that is over 20years old, it's a hard mouse mat though so not susceptable to indentations and stuff.

I only replace non hard mouse mats if there are noticable dips in the surface affecting mouse movement. Depending on exactly where in the mid section is causing the issue you could try rotating your mat 180 degrees. If that doesn't work then purchase or borrow a cheap mouse mat to test. Cheapest option to identify the cause and is the most likely culprit.

Not used a mouse pad for years, with modern mice, there's not really a need for them any more, if you have a good desk surface anyway.

A laser-type mouse doesn't require a pad anymore but this requires that they have a hard, clean preferably dark desk surface to bounce a laser off. All a mousepad does anymore is work great as a great dust collector or a chew toy for your pet(s). I've come across some folks keeping them for sentimentality sake because of the gel wrist rest but they had it flipped backwards and hacked off the old mousepad portion which made absolutely no sense to me since it left jagged edges all over it. Clients can often be quite unique and quirky when they really want to be.

Well, I've purchased other mice to replace it. The problem I have is that something always fails on them. I've bought a couple from Razer, Redragon, Logitech, Corsair. All of them lasted a few years for me.

Meanwhile, my Microsoft Mouse 2.0 that I've had for 20 plus years is still going. Mice today are built like crap.
