9700K overclock
Never overclocked before and can't find any 9700K MSI BIOS specific overclocking guides.

Ive found one on MSIs forums but don't trust what they say because I've heard countless times through videos and forums that 1.35v is realistically the highest you should go for 5GHz.

The guide ( https://www.msi.com/blog/intel-9th-cpu-overclocking-5ghz-with-z390-motherboards ) says "1.32v for OC i9-9900K 5GHz, 1.37v for i7-9700K 5GHz and 1.43v for i5-9600K 5GHz. Each CPU needs different core voltage for stability."

Is 1.37v safe for 5GHz on the 9700k? I know I may not need to use 1.37v at 5GHz because of silicon lottery, but just want to make sure.

Also, is all the information in that guide good? I don't wanna f&#! up a £400 CPU.

core voltage depends on cooling
more voltage = more heat = requires better cooling

I know about cooling, I think I should be fine with a Kraken x62 280mm AIO for 5GHz shouldn't I?

I'm talking more about the BIOS settings the person uses to do the overclock, is there anything you would do differently to them?
