The Mk1 has a 1366Mhz clock speed while the Mk2 offers 3 stock clock speeds with a 1380Mhz OC clock, Vram speeds are the same.
The Mk1 has TORX Mk1 Fans and the Mk2 has TORX Mk2 fans, no idea what the difference is, but this coupled with a slightly thicker card, I'll assume the cooling has been uprated over the Mk1.
OP, I do not think the MK2 is the older card...
Rather odd that there arn't any reviews for either card from the usual haunts (hexus, toms, techrader, trustedreviews or techreport etc, etc)... did you find/read any reviews for either card ?
